REMOVE GANGRENE FROM POLITICS

Time indeed changes manners and notions,
and so far we must expect institutions to bend to them.
But time produces also corruption of principles,
and against this it is the duty of good citizens
to be ever on the watch,
and if the gangrene is to prevail at last,
let the day be kept off as long as possible.

THOMAS JEFFERSON

REMOVE GANGRENE FROM AMERICAN POLITICS

To take money out of politics.
Remove from government all 1% puppets.
To take politics out of the Supreme Court.
Increase the size from 9 to 15 for our court of last resort.
Too long, the 1% have corrupted the American government.
Too long, the American electorate failed to exercise good judgment.
In 2012 America will be bombarded by 1% lies and deception.
Whether the 1% will reign in America after 2012 is the question.

THE 99%

A nation of sheep in search of shepherds.
They became food for carnivorous herds.
Carnivores at their heels, made them defiant.
Soon the nation of sheep became self reliant.

Stand up! Fight back! Again, and again!
Never quit! Keep the faith! We can win!

America can belong to the people again!

SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN: "BRIBERY IS THE WAY THE SYSTEM WORKS..."

ARIZONA SEN. JOHN McCAIN:

"Bribery is the way the system works.
We are defenders of an elaborate
influences-peddling scheme in which
both parties conspire to stay in office
by selling the country to the highest bidder."

Despite this condemnation of the system,
The Supreme Court decided "Citizens United".
Were the Supreme Court Justices uninformed?
Did they not know consequences of “Citizens United”?

Malefactors of great wealth can contribute vast sums unanimously.
To buy elections and treat the United States as their property.
Citizens United” gives corruption of our government a license.
The Justices responsible should to be tried for malfeasance.

The Citizens United decision sparked an American Revolution.
Occupy the Federal Courts to protest this errant decision.
Stand up! Fight back! Again, and again!
Never quit! Keep the faith! We can win!

January 20, 2012: Move to Amend Occupies the Courts!

Inspired by our friends at Occupy Wall Street, and Dr. Cornel West, Move To Amend is planning bold action to mark the second anniversary of the infamous Citizens United v. FEC decision!
Occupy the Courts will be a one day occupation of Federal courthouses across the country, including the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., on Friday January 20, 2012.
Move to Amend volunteers across the USA will lead the charge on the judiciary which created — and continues to expand — corporate personhood rights.
Americans across the country are on the march, and they are marching OUR way. They carry signs that say, “Corporations are NOT people! Money is NOT Speech!” And they are chanting those truths at the top of their lungs! The time has come to make these truths evident to the courts.

WAKE UP AMERICA - WE'VE BEEN SCREWED

For too long the 1% has ruled.
For too long the 99% was screwed.
The 99% is tired of losing.
Election Day 2012 is not for snoozing.

Occupy Wall Street is leading the way.
Let's back them on the 2012 election day.
The 99% should vote as one.
If only we can find a way to get it done.

Stand up! Fight back! Again, and again!
Never quit! Keep the faith! We can win!
America can belong to the people again!

THE ENRON LOOPHOLE

Brooksley Born warned America about derivatives.
By Greenspan, Rubin, and Summers she was visited.
Congress passed GLBA and Enron Loophole legislation.
America was sold out by greedy, corrupt. two faced politicians.

The 1%'s assets finance the government's wanton corruption.
Occupation Wall Street warns of the government's seduction.
Occupation Wall Street Revolution leads the way.
An American Revolution fights for democracy today.

Stand up! Fight back! Again, and again!
Never quit! Keep the faith! We can win!
The 99% are demonstrating in a peaceful revolution.
If only the 99% could, just once, vote in unison.

Can we find a way to get it done?

Stop Walker's Biggest Allies

"The spirit of our citizens,...
rising with a strength and majesty
which show the loveliness of freedom,
will make this government in practice
what it is in principle,
a model for the protection of man
in a state of freedom and order."
--Thomas Jefferson

Wisconsin's “shout heard round the world”.
Signaled renewed hope and determination unfurled.

Miller
Dear Michael,

All across Wisconsin people are coming together to recall Scott Walker and those responsible for the unprecedented attack on the rights of working families.

But as we all hold Scott Walker accountable, we must remember that he did not act alone.  In the State Senate, his cronies openly broke the law and forced an illegal backroom vote on Scott Walker’s bill – without even giving the public notice that it was happening.

Last summer, because of you, we sent 2 of those cronies packing.  Now we have a chance to beat 4 more and take back the Majority in the State Senate!

Your contribution today of $50, $25, $15, or whatever you can afford, will send Senators Scott Fitzgerald, Van Wanggaard, Pam Galloway, and Terry Moulton a message that they will be held accountable for their actions.

What the Senate Republicans did to the working people of this state was unconscionable.

Senators Van Wanggaard, Terry Moulton, and Pam Galloway represent areas of the state that have been hardest hit by the economic crisis – and yet they voted in the middle of the night to strip those struggling families of their basic rights.

They turned their backs on the people they were elected to serve – and now it’s time for them to go.

But in order to defeat them, we need your help.

Please contribute $50, $25, $15, or whatever you can afford, to send those State Senators packing, and elect new leaders who will stand up for the working families of this state.

If we are able to defeat just 1 of these GOP Senators we will retake the majority in the State Senate, and be able to work with our new Governor to repeal the disastrous policies that Scott Walker and the Senate Republicans illegally enacted.

But we can’t do it without you.

With Gratitude,
Mark

Senator Mark Miller
