It’s Time to Fix This Place
Where deer and antelope used to run
Now with fear and hate is overrun
Oligarchs around the world meander
With endless war for riches to plunder
Mountains shrouded in smog
Polluters and religious zealots wag the dog
Rivers once clean and pure now stink
Dirty air to breathe and water to drink
Bridges unsafe to cross
Infrastructure almost lost
Trains and tracks busted
Sewers and water lines rusted
World is getting hot
Climate Deniers say it's not
Storms and floods wreak havoc
Warmongers have the money locked
Congress tells us where to tread
Terrorists we must fear and dread
Visions of mushroom clouds overhead
Pretty soon we all will wind up dead
